Genetta Alyene Tomlinson of Lindsay was born on September 26, 1933 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Johnie Moton McCaskill and Iva Viola (St. Clair) McCaskill. She passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years. Alyene was a lifetime resident of Garvin County where she was born and raised. She married Roy Tomlinson on October 29, 1948 in Pauls Valley, OK and they made Lindsay their home for over 70 years. She owned and operated her own salon, Alyene’s Hairdos, for many years. Alyene loved and enjoyed her family, cooking Sunday dinners, and taking her grandsons to fish. When her daughters were younger, she helped with Girl Scouts, Sunday School, G.A.’s and was very active in all aspects of her church life. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, her flowers, canning whenever the garden did well, and has always been an avid reader. She also enjoyed her dogs and the love of her life was Precious, a pit bull mix. Alyene always made candy at Christmas for the guys that worked at Burford Corporation. She attended Banner Baptist Church and it was very important to her. Alyene will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her daughter, Jean Robbins and husband Damon Padgett of Lindsay. Son-in-law, Raymond Frazier of Carnegie. Grandchildren: Penny Timmons-Therrien, Gary Robbins and Tiffany Langston, Amanda Herrington and husband Matthew, Matthew Robbins, Kevin McClish and wife Maranda. Great-grandchildren: Colton Robbins and Amanda Johnson, Quinton Robbins, Carter McClish, Gehrig McClish, Kaiton Robbins, Quaid Robbins, Emily Robbins, Luke Herrington, CJ Collins, Coleen Collins, and Christen Collins. One great-great grandson, Hagen Don Scott Robbins. Alyene was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie and Viola McCaskill; husband, Roy Tomlinson; daughter, Judy Frazier; and brothers, Burl McCaskill, Jerry McCaskill, and Gary Don McCaskill. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Antioch Cemetery with Bro. Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
