Alfred Leroy Gregory

Alfred Leroy Gregory was born on June 23, 1961, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Everett and Marie (Cox) Gregory and passed away on June 26, 2024, in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years.

Alfred was a graduate of Lindsay High School. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator.  On March 11, 1991, Alfred married Pamela Morris. They were married for 31 years at the time of her passing last year. Alfred loved his family. He was a great father, but even better grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, Pink Floyd, being a heavy equipment operator, and he loved his hippy dome. Alfred will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survived by: sons: LeeVon McCoy of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Dock Gregory and Taylor of Cambridge, Ohio; daughters: Logan Kanaugh and Chad of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Hale’ Deviney and Chaz of Purdy, Oklahoma; brothers: Terry Gregory of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Larry Gregory and Shirley Pendleton of Burns Flatt, Oklahoma; sister, Reta Hayes and Dennis of Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren: Khloi Renai, Harley Quinn, Lloyd Paul, Grace-Lee, Cassen Kanaugh, Creedence Kanaugh, David Cole Deviney, Isabelle Deviney, Sarah Deviney, and Ezra Finn Deviney.

Preceded by: parents, Everett and Marie Gregory; wife, Pamela Gregory; and daughter-in-law, Miranda McCoy.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Erin Springs Baptist Church. Burial at Purdy Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
