Adele Farley of Lindsay was born on April 12, 1936 in Kerens, TX to Florene (Burleson) Hancock. She passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 84 years.
Adele graduated high school from Midland Texas in 1953. The day after graduation, June 1, 1953, she married the love of her life, Perry Farley. Together they moved all over the United States as Perry worked in the oilfield until 1985 when they finally settled down in Lindsay. Adele loved her family and spending time and cooking for them. She liked people and was known to be very kind and thoughtful to others. She enjoyed going for drives, traveling, getting her hair done, and was an avid reader. Adele was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lindsay.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Perry of the home.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Florene Hancock; son, Steven Wade Farley; daughter, Shannon Lee Powell; brother, Wallace Hancock; and sister, Corley Peterson.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK with Bro. Dennis Yates officiating. Burial with be under the direction of John W.
