Lanell (Parmer) Crank of Lindsay was born on August 30, 1934 to Doyle and Foy (Allen) Parmer. She passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years. Lanell was born in Hermleigh, Texas and grew up in Snyder, Texas and graduated from Snyder High School. She married Glen Crank on January 2, 1952 in Walters, Oklahoma and to this union three children were born, Morris, Debra, and Douglas. She worked various jobs after the children left home and one of them was for Redman where she was a secretary to Dub Welsh. After Lanell retired from Redman, she enjoyed reading, camping, crocheting, sewing Mo’Betta shirts when they were popular and loved antiquing. She liked to paint the mailboxes that Glen made and collecting ducks with him. She loved spending time with her family. Lanell was affiliated with the Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her sons, Morris Ray Crank of Lindsay and Doug Crank and Debbie Laster of Cox City. A daughter, Debra McLemore of Lindsay. Sister, Linda Bowen and husband James of El Paso, Texas. Grandchildren: Keith McCully, Michelle, and Ryker; Kelly Crank and family, and Jaime Dutton and family and many great grandchildren. Lanell was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Foy Parmer; husband, Glen Crank, and a nephew, Steven Bowen. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Winans Funeral Home, 405 Sixth Street, Maysville, OK. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Bailey Cemetery, West of Cox City under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
