Margery Maxine Faulkenberry

Margery Maxine Faulkenberry age 81 of Lindsay went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was born on September 3, 1935 in Niotaze, Kansas. She was the second child of Guy and Hazel (McGeeHee) Scott . Margery grew up traveling and moving with her family across the United States. She met and married the love of her life, Bob Faulkenberry on January 12, 1956. Together they farmed and built their home in McClain County for 61 years. She loved being outdoors where she enjoyed gathering with family and friends, gardening, caring and tending to her many animals, supporting Lindsay Public Schools and attending her grandchildren’s activities at Washington Public Schools. Margery enjoyed her church and church family at Criner Baptist Church. Margery was preceded in death by a son, Mitchel Wayne Faulkenberry and her parents, Guy and Hazel Scott. She is survived by her husband Bob Faulkenberry of the home. A daughter Denise Roberson of Lindsay, OK. Grandson Tanner Roberson of Lindsay, OK and granddaughter Kelby and husband Keith Van Paul of Lindsay, OK and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and also a host of other relatives and friends. Sister, Dorothy Mantooth of Lindsay, OK Visitation for family and friends will be from 5 pm to 8 pm, Friday and 9 am to Noon Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay with Bro. Bill Irwin and Bro. Miles Gordon officiating.
