Roger Dwayne Pipins, 75 of Woodward was born on May 1, 1942 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to John Henry Pipins and Babe Ruth (McCurley) Pipins. He passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his home in Woodward with his loving family by his side. Roger grew up in the Pauls Valley area. He married Charlene Loyd on October 31, 1964 in Duke, Oklahoma. They moved from Wellington, Texas to Woodward, Oklahoma in 1973. Roger enjoyed his work in the oilfield and trucking for Astro and Christian and operating his business, Pip Security. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Roger enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He was a member of Sure Foundation Church of God. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his wife, Charlene Pipins of the home in Woodward. Sons: John Pipins and wife Tracy of Woodward and Dennis Pipins and wife Glenna of Skiatook. A daughter, Amandia Callen of Woodward. Granddaughters: Melissa Bowersox and husband Zachary (Zach) of Moore and Jeryka Pipins of Woodward. Grandsons: Dan Hamilton and wife Jessica of Woodward and Jacob Pipins of Woodward, and Dax Pipins of Blue Jacket. Great grandchildren: Xander, Nikolas, Katie, Jaxon, Charly, Jessi, Adri, and David. Brothers: Wayne Pipins and wife Shirley of Blue Jacket and Phil Pipins and wife Rita of Oklahoma City. Sister, Sharon Caywood and husband Mike of Freedom. Sister-in-law, Kathy Pipins of Mansfield, Texas. And several nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Pipins; and brother, Larry Pipins. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, Oklahoma with Pastor JoAnn Kirkham officiating. Burial is under the direction of John W.
