Richard Alan “Rick” Hudson of Lindsay passed away at his home on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the age of 56 years old. He was born on June 1, 1960 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Vernon Hudson and Ardith (Davison) Stinnett. Rick lived in Lindsay most of his life except for the few years he was in Guymon, Oklahoma. He worked as an oilfield operator on drilling rigs, C & S Directional Boring, and at the Guymon golf course. He married Karen Perkins on September 22, 2011. Rick was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Guymon. He enjoyed working, fishing, hunting, backroading, living life, and a good adventure like parasailing and snorkeling. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Rick was a member of the Criner Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Karen of the home. Mother, Ardith Stinnett of Lindsay and father and step-mother, Vernon and Betty Hudson of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Sister, Lorri Jo McCoy and Sandy of Amarillo, Texas and step-sister, Kristi Kennedy and niece Karri Kennedy of Washington, Oklahoma. Nephews: Josh Marcellus and family, Tommy Marcellus and family, Eric Marcellus and family all of Kansas, and Nathan Marcellus of California. Step-son, Cory Rawson and step-daughter, Amanda Hudson both of Oklahoma. And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends, including a special friend, Sharon Jones of Hastings, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK with Rev. Bill Irwin officiating and burial under the direction of John W.
