Tim J. Blish

Tim J. Blish was born on February 20, 1956 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Allen and Hermione (Ramsey) Blish. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior early Thursday morning, September 29, 2016 at the age of 60 years. As a young boy Tim and family lived in Alex then made their way to California. He and his family moved to Maysville in 1961 where he attended school graduating from Maysville High School in 1974 and then completed two years of college at the University of Oklahoma. Tim married Rhonda Wester on June 4, 1982. He began his working career when he was 16 years old as a sacker/stocker at Coy’s Supermarket, then the stores became known as Super C Marts where he was employed for 44 years. Tim was a manager and then became the Regional Supervisor in 1982, where he mentored the up and coming managers and taught them about the business and how to make their stores profitable. He was considered to be a very respected businessman in this area. Tim was a very devoted husband and family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren and going on family vacations. He enjoyed taking care of his cattle and being on his tractor. He was a member of the Abundant Love Fellowship. Tim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Rhonda of the home. Son, Clayton Blish and wife Molly of Moore. A daughter, Lauren Pettit and husband Devery of Alex. One brother, Derry Blish and wife Eula of Pipe Creek, Texas. Three grandsons, Hudson Blish, Ray Pettit, and Owen Pettit. And a host of other relatives and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Hermione Blish; and brothers, George Blish, Perrin Blish, and David Blish. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Abundant Love Fellowship with Bro. Danny Gamble officiating.
