Kenneth Ray Durham

Kenneth Ray Durham of Lindsay was born on January 14, 1964 in Borger, Texas to Ronald Henry Durham and Syleasta (Franklin) Durham. He passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years. In 1983 Kenneth graduated from high school in Casper, Wyoming and then moved to Lindsay where he has lived most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He liked to hunt, fish, ride horses, go to rodeos, and team roping. Kenneth was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his mother, Syleasta Durham of Lindsay. A brother, Plase James Durham and wife Rhonda of Lindsay. Sister, Rhonda Gail East and husband Donnie of Amber. Step-daughters: Tasha Gibson of Lindsay, Tonya Ashley and husband Jonathan of Maysville. J. C. Simpon of Asher. Nephews: Chaz Chaffin and wife Tina of Leedey, Johnny Jones of Alex; and Dallas Durham of Lindsay. Nieces, Carrie Jones of Amber and Que Runnels of Lindsay. Great Nephews, Alex Bradley and Kylin Chaffin. Great nieces, Jordyn Chaffin, Kaylie Chaffin, Abby and Britany Runnels. Aunts: Cindy Simmons of Quinton, Karen and James Franklin of Quinton, Brenda Stroud and husband Jerry of Pampa, TX, Zrada Milburn and husband Mike of Yukon, and Twana Hogue of Centerton, Arkansas. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Durham; uncle Ricky Durham; cousins, Betty Michelle Hassler and Mark Wayne Hogue; grandparents, Buddy and Gladys Durham and Loyd and Que Franklin; great grandparents, M. D. and Georgia Durham, Andrew and Ollie Ginn, Harrison B. Franklin, Cessel D. Franklin, George Freeman Harris, and Johnnie A. Harris. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Erin Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Hicks officiating.
