Carolyn Ann Brown

Carolyn Ann Brown of Lindsay was born on December 23, 1962 in Fresno, California to Albert Smith and Judy (Will) Smith. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years. Carolyn grew up in Fresno, California graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1981 and she married Terry Brown in 1985. They lived in Fresno before moving to Lindsay, Oklahoma in 2004. Carolyn was a caregiver in Redding, California and at Lindsay Manor Nursing Home. She was a very big hearted person who loved working with children and helping people. She enjoyed camping and Search-A-Word books. Carolyn was very active in the Grace Full Gospel Lighthouse where she was a member and found great comfort in reading her Bible. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her husband, Terry Brown of the home. A step-son, Terry Lee Brown of Fresno, California. Brother, Michael Smith of Fresno, California. And a sister, Lori Lillian and husband Mike of Fresno, California. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirley Brooks. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Grace Full Gospel Lighthouse in Lindsay with Sister Martha Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
