Robert Charles Johnston, Jr.

Robert Charles Johnston, Sr. of Maysville was born on July 22, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan to Robert and Irene Ellis (Ronan) Johnston. He passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years. Robert grew up in Michigan. He worked as a supervisor for Demco before retiring in 1989. He moved to Maysville eight years ago from Harrah, Oklahoma. Robert enjoyed fishing, gardening, cattle, and going to the racetrack. In his younger years he liked hunting. He was a member of the Catholic church and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his sons: Benny Johnston and wife Evelyn of Edmond and Steven Johnston and wife Charlette of McCloud. A daughter, Jeanie Miller and husband Mike of Maysville. 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Charles Johnston, Jr.; sister, Patricia Johnston; and brothers, Jack Ron, and Wayne Johnston. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Maysville with Rev. Chris Thorman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of John W.
