Priscilla Jane King

Priscilla Jane King of Lindsay was born April 1, 1957 in Cushing, Oklahoma to David and Eunice Belle (Brewer) Morgan. She passed from this life on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years. Priscilla grew up in Seminole, graduating from there and then she obtained an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. She was an only child and a daddy’s girl who followed him step-for-step in his machine shop. Priscilla married Bill King on April 19, 1980 in Seminole. They moved from Fort Worth, Texas to Lindsay, Oklahoma in 1985. She worked with preschoolers and played the piano at the Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay. Priscilla loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed reading, quoting the Bible, playing the piano, and a good meal especially Big Macs. She attended the First Baptist Church in Maysville. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her husband, Bill of the home. Mother, Eunice Morgan of Seminole. Sons: Jason Micah King of Lindsay; Joshua Daniel King of Norman; and Aaron Jacob King of Norman. A daughter, Rebekah Faith King and fiancé, Bryan Joshua Hamilton of Lindsay. Grandchildren: Charlotte Marie King and Priscilla Mae Faith King-Hamilton. Priscilla was preceded in death by her father, David Morgan. Donations may be made in Priscilla’s name to the American Heart Association. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Maysville with Rev. Steve Spanger and Rev. Chris Thorman officiating. Burial will be in the Purdy Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
