Jerry Chris Ashley

Jerry Christopher “Chris” Ashley of Maysville was born on October 26, 1961 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Jerry D. and Mary Lou (Brakefield) Ashley. He passed from this life on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 54 years. Chris lived in Maysville all of his life, graduating from Maysville High School in 1979. He worked as a derrick hand for Capitol Well Service. He loved computers and watching Star Trek, The Three Stooges, and Dr. Who. Chris enjoyed drawing. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his mother, Mary Lou Ashley of Maysville. Sisters: Debra Stephens of Norman; Shannon Whitmore and husband Jimmie of Pauls Valley; and Sharon Bratcher and husband Steve of Pauls Valley. and a host of other relatives. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Jerry D. Ashley. Private family services are planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
