Benny Fowler of Sasakwa was born on August 7, 1943 in Oklahoma City to Willie Oscar Fowler and Edith (Grant) Fowler. He passed from this life on Friday, November 13, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 72. Benny was a lifetime resident of Sasakwa. He worked as a truck driver for Dolese Brothers for 33 years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Sasakwa Fire Department. Benny liked to mow the yard and help Marcill with the garden. He loved his horse and dog. He made and collected model cars. Benny supported his children’s music ministries and was a member of the Cornerstone Tabernacle. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his wife Marcill of the home in Sasakwa Son: Don Fowler and wife Evelyn of Lexington Step-son, Mark Fowler and wife Duana of Sasakwa Step-son, David Fowler of Cushing Daughter, Sylena Burden and husband Gary of Konawa Step-daughter, Velaria Fowler of Smithville. 19 Grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. and a host of other relatives. Benny was preceded in death by his parents, Willie O. and Edith Fowler; first wife Joequetta Fowler; 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Maysville Cemetery with Bill Chesser and Larry Chesser, Jr. officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
