Larry Don Bray of Lindsay was born on December 15, 1949 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Jewel Donald Bray and Barbara Eller (Dutton) Bray. He passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Lindsay at the age of 65 years. Larry was a lifetime resident of Lindsay. He had worked many different jobs, but for the last 12 years, he operated his own car detailing business, Street Metal. He took great pride in the work he did on people’s vehicles. Larry loved all music, singing, and playing guitars, drums, and keyboards and he hand built his own guitar. He had the opportunity to play with Merle Haggard, but turned it down to stay home with his family. Larry liked cars, especially Cadillacs. He enjoyed watching movies. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his father, Jewel Bray of Oklahoma City. Sons: Bryan Bray and Majken Brylczyk of Oklahoma City; Anthony White of Lindsay; Keith Bray and wife Leanne of Lindsay; Heath Bray and wife Kathy of Lindsay; and Jared Bray of Lindsay. Daughter, Armenda White of Oklahoma City. Brothers: Gary Dean Bray and wife Bo of Oklahoma City; Terry Bray of Lindsay; and Stephen Bray and wife Peggy of Broken Bow. Sisters: Fern Rule and Steve Fitch of Oklahoma City and Vicki Mills and husband Charles of Lindsay. Grandchildren: Destiny Bray, Savannah Bray, Allison Bray, Brandon White, and Antonio White. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Bray and wives, Darlene Bray and Linda Kay Bray. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Winans Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 9, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Rev. Billy Davenport and Rev. Loy Elkins officiating. Burial will be in the Whitebead Cemetery, Pauls Valley, OK under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
