Anna Ruth Bottorff of Norman was born on January 17, 1923 at Wallville, Oklahoma to Elmer Lamascus and Beulah (Cryer) Lamascus. She passed from this life on October 17, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years. “Anna moved from the South Bay Area of California in 1977. She moved in with her mother and a sister. She cared for her mother for many years at home and at the nursing home until her mothers death. Ann then went to California with her sister Billie to visit. She returned to Oklahoma in 2006 and lived in Norman, OK until her death.” She was a homemaker, but in her earlier years she worked as a restaurant cashier. She enjoyed living in the country in Norman. She liked sitting outside on the patio swing listening to the birds and enjoying the flower beds and Koi Pond. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to the radio. She and her sisters loved to sing together and they even sang live on the radio. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Davis and husband Dwayne of Norman. Grandchildren: Mark Bottorff and wife Michelle and Leah Graham and husband Justin all of Washington state. 5 Great grandchildren and one more due any time. Sister, Billie of Oklahoma City. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gerald Leroy Bottorff, Jr.(Lee); brothers, Haskell and Earnest; and sisters, Opal and Yvonne. She was followed in death by her sister Lola who passed away October 21, 2015. GRAVESIDE services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Maysville Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
