Joyce Ann (Neal) Brownlee of Oklahoma City was born on June 17, 1947 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to James Vernon and Nola Mae (Wiliams) Neal. She passed from this life on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years. Joyce attended school in Exeter, California, Maysville, and Norman. She married Harry William Brownlee on August 2, 1963 at Norman and they lived in Norman, Moore, and Oklahoma City. They were married for 44 years before Harry died in 2007. She worked at Tyson’s Pride, Inc. and Southern Temple Baptist Church before retiring in 2005. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by them. Her survivors include her son, Quinn Brownlee and wife Cheri of Oklahoma City and daughter, Amanda McBee and husband Mike of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren: Jennifer and Nathan Cunningham, Jessica and Steven Henry, Cydney McBee, Kaylee McBee, and foster grandson, Eddie Garcia. Great grandchildren, Nikole Brownlee, Aubrey Cunningham, and due in December Ellamae Louise Henry. Brothers-in-laws, Leon Brownlee of Norman, and Glen Brownlee and wife Brenda of Ardmore. Sisters-in-laws, Connie Brownlee of Norman and Virginia Edmonds of Ardmore. Step mother-in-law, Betty Brownlee of Irvin, Texas. Step Brothers-in-law, Ralph Mehl and wife Celia and David Mehl and wife Martha. A special friend, Larry Orr of Oklahoma City. and several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Brownlee; brothers, Bobbie Neal, Arlin Neal, and J. V. Neal; Sisters, LaNeta Neal and Mona Green; sisters-in-law, Carmen Neal, Kiyoko Neal and Ruth Wolfrey; brothers-in-law, Carl Brownlee, Don Brownlee, Mike Wolfrey, Leo Edmonds, and Leon Green; parents-in-law, Gene and Ruth Brownlee; nephew, Glen Green; and nephew-in-law, Larry Lay. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
