David Albert Chappell of Bradley was born on December 20, 1943 in Santa Barbara, California to Orin L. and Ethel Mae (Frowiss) Chappell. He passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years. David grew up in California where he graduated from high school. He married Mary Ann Dillingham on February 23, 1963 in Simi, California. They have lived in Bradley for 22 years. He worked as a California Highway Patrolman for ten years, a Cross Country Truck Driver, and a dispatcher in the oilfield for Hamm & Phillips Service Company. David enjoyed time on the computer and watching television. He was affiliated with the Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Chappell of Bradley. A son, Mike Chappell and Lisa of Bradley. Daughter, Lisa Foster and husband Pat of Oak View, California. Brother, Orin L. Chappell and wife Karen of Big Bear, California. Grandchildren: Krystle Smith and husband Trapper, Sean Chappell, Mary Foster, Heather Foster, Emma Chappell and fiancé Derek Farley, and Amanda Chappell. Great-grandchildren: Jaden Smith, Kutter Smith, and Deklan Chappell. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 graveside at Bradley Cemetery with Pearline Perkey officiating.
