Terry Marc Robertson of Lindsay was born on August 5, 1944 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Marcus E. and Mary Geneva (Ezzard) Robertson. He passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his home south of Lindsay. Terry graduated from Pocasset High School in 1962 and went on to attend Cameron Junior College and Oklahoma State University. He married Jimmie Ree McDonald on August 26, 1965 in Texas. They lived in Oklahoma City, Kansas, Colorado and Bradley where they raised their children on the Washita River. While living in Juneau and Prince of Wales Island, Alaska from 1999 to 2009, Terry enjoyed prospecting and shrimping. Later they moved south of Lindsay where they built the home of their dreams. He was an independent catastrophe insurance adjuster and a salesman of everything from magazines to cars. He was also a farmer/rancher on the Robertson Ranch and he raced horses. Terry enjoyed mealtimes with his family, racing horses, hunting, fishing and driving the back roads. He was known as quite the jokester and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his wife of 49 years Jimmie Ree of the home. Sons: Shannon Marc Robertson and fiancee Virginia Ellis of Old Mobeetie, Texas and Terry Joe Robertson of Cushing. Daughters: Sheree Johnston and husband Mike of Lindsay and Terra Ree Cash Annesley and husband Ryan of Blanchard. A brother: Don Edward Robertson of Purview, Tennessee. Grandchildren: Corey Livingston, Jacqulene Helm, Marcus Robertson, Michael Johnston, Joe Ryan Johnston, Laci Shae Johnston, KyRee Geneva Annesley, and Peyten Annesley. Great grandchildren: Lowgyn Helm, Liam Helm, Bryson Robertson and Gabriel Helm will arrive in 2 weeks. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Mary Robertson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 29, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Bradley, Oklahoma with Rev. Clay Hicks officiating.
