Patricia Louise Galaviz

Patricia Louise Galaviz was born on October 30, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lawrence Sterling and Velma (Laurents) Sterling. She passed from this life with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her home in Maysville at the age of 65 years. Patsy grew up in Texas and worked as a beautician at Fashionette in Port Neches, Texas. She moved to Maysville 21 years ago from Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She enjoyed league bowling, watching westerns on television, playing dominoes, reading, and flower gardening. Patsy loved to spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her husband Manuel of the home. Sons: Charles Galaviz and Jana of Elmore City; Manuel Martin Galaviz and Debra of Vidor, Texas; William Clinton Galaviz of Elmore City; Henry Lee Galaviz of Nederland, Texas; Marty Lee Galaviz and Alisha of Maysville; and Aaron Michael Galaviz of Stratford. Daughters: Lisa Renee Roccaforte and Wayne of Port Neches, Texas; Carol Ann Hebert and Mike of Port Neches, Texas; and Jennifer Lynn Winget of Maysville. Brothers: Jerry Wayne Sterling of Port Neches, Texas; Bobby Ray Sterling and Lisa of Nederland, Texas; and Rodney Earl Sterling and Kathy of Cypress, Texas. A sister, Lydia Dianne Ward of Port Neches, Texas. 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Velma Sterling; a daughter Cynthia Ann Galaviz; and brother Gary Lane Sterling. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
