Samuel Cain of Elmore City was born on March 29, 1952 in Tulare, California to Auther D. Cain and Wanda Lee (Freely) Cain. He passed from this life on Monday, April 6, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 62 years. Samuel grew up in California graduating from Redwood High School in Visalia, California in 1970. He enjoyed working in construction like drywall and as a journeyman. He moved to Elmore City nine years ago from Farmersville, California. People enjoyed being around him because he was a fantastic conversationalist. Samuel enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in every capacity. He liked to spend time outdoors especially around a fire with his family. Fishing, hunting, and listening to country/western music were his favorite hobbies. Samuel was a professed Christian. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his children: Joseph Cain and wife Ilene of Lindsay; Regina Cain of California; and Chasity Zachary and husband Adam of Noble. Step-children: Andy Navarez of Noble and Heather Beverly and husband Ricky of Alex. Loving companion, Trina Easley of the home. Brother, Kenneth Cain and wife Margie of Elmore City. Sisters: Judy Stewart and husband Billy of Arkansas; Theresa Carlson and husband Rick of Noble; and Lucy Harrod and husband Louie of Washington State. 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; a son Samuel Joseph Cain, Jr.; brothers, Bobby Cain, Michael Cain, Mickey Cain, and Earl Cain; sisters, Lilly Phillips, Marilyn Cain, Joyce Stratton, and Brenda Cain. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Maysville Cemetery with Pastor Terry Clayton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
