Earl Howard DeArman of Lexington was born on June 2, 1935 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Ota Bert DeArman and Vera Naomi (Siner) DeArman. He passed from this life on Friday, January 16, 2015 in his home at the age of 79 years. While growing up, Earl lived in Maysville graduating from high school there in 1954. He worked as a custodian in the Noble School System, as an exterminator for Terminix, and retired from the Department of Corrections after working there for over 20 years. Earl enjoyed watching old western movies and professional football games. He loved collecting guns. He had a tremendous heart for giving and was always looking for someone to help. Earl supported the Slaughterville Volunteer Fire Department. He was affiliated with the Baptist church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his sisters, Eureta Smith of Lexington and Loys Sadberry of Denton, Texas. Nieces, Sandy Thompson, Laura Holliman, and many other nieces. Nephews, Kevin Smith, Greg Sadberry, and many other nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Bert, James, Glenn, and Orville “Tuffy”; a sister, LaVerne Burch; and a brother-in-law, Derrell Sadberry. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Rev. Greg Mack officiating.
