Lisa Kirk Strong

Lisa Kirk Strong, 50, of Lindsay passed from this life on Monday, January 12, 2015 at her home. She was born on September 5, 1964 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Gerald Dean Strong and Yvonne (Crabb) Shico. Lisa lived in the Lindsay area all of her life. She liked vegetable and flower gardening, and was a good cook and enjoyed feeding everyone. Lisa liked to go fishing and hunting and do outdoor things with her boys. Country and classic rock were her favorite kinds of music and she enjoyed watching Jesse Duplantis on television. Lisa enjoyed being with her dogs. She was affiliated with the Baptist church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her mother, Yvonne Shico of Lindsay. Companion, Billy Bennett. Sons: Clint Scruggs and Tommy of Lexington; Jared Todd and wife Amanda of Edmond; and Shayne Todd and wife Stacy of Rush Springs. Sister, Renee Watson and husband Greg of Lindsay. Grandchildren: Bryndale Scruggs, Kayden Todd, and Greyson Todd. and other relatives and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Strong; a brother, Michael Strong; and sister, Beverly Strong. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, January 23, 2015 at Winans Funeral Home, Maysville with Rev. Bill Love officiating.
