Paula Donna Dover of Maysville was born on September 28, 1949 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Roy Newt Lewis and Dollie Mildred (Moring) Lewis. She passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in Lexington at the age of 64 years. Donna grew up in Maysville attending school there. She married Eugene “Gene” Dover, Sr. on May 21, 1984 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She lived in Texas, then Hobbs, New Mexico before moving back to Maysville in 1994. Donna worked at Storm Plastics and as a court clerk and then bailiff for Judge McClain in Pauls Valley. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, knitting, playing Sudoku, and cooking and she was a very good cook. Donna was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Maysville and she held the high honor of Grand Matron in Eastern Star. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her daughter, Jamie Dawn Davis of Lindsay. Step-son, Gene Dover, Jr. of Paoli. Sister, Patty Lawson of Maysville. A brother, Ronnie Lewis and wife Penny of Blanchard. Grandchildren: Ethan Akerman, Brenlee, Gavin, and Phoenix Zumhof, and Nathan Dover. and several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mildred Lewis and her husband, Gene Dover in 2009. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Maysville with Mike Deviney and Gay Freeman officiating.
