Fuchsia June Brooksher Dickson Born: August 3, 1946, at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Raymond and Ethel Blackwood Brooksher. Died: June 10, 2014, at Rockwall, Texas Age: 67 Fuchsia has been a lifetime resident of Oklahoma. She grew up in Maysville and attended Maysville schools graduating in 1964. She later attended East Central University for 2 years. Fuchsia married R.T. Dickson and later lived in Cisco, Texas moving later to Maysville and eventually to Marlow. She later moved to Oklahoma City and worked for the Federal Aviation Administration retiring after 15 years due to health concerns. She loved horse racing, going to Las Vegas and going on cruises. She took great pleasure and pride in being with her daughter Amy and granddaughter Brooklyn. She greatly enjoyed hearing Brooklyn sing and play guitar, and was proud to be a part of Brooklyn's graduation plans. She attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Cook and husband Nick of Rockwall, Texas. Granddaughter: Brooklyn Cook of Rockwall, Texas The love of Fuchsia's life: R.T. Dickson Brothers: Larry Brooksher of Maysville, and Wesley Brooksher and wife Jandra also of Maysville. Sister: Norma Wilkerson of Wheatland, Oklahoma Many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends made throughout the years. Fuchsia is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Ethel Brooksher and a brother Carroll. Chapel Services will be held Saturday morning, June 14, 2014, at 10:00am at the Winans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Wollenberg officiating with burial in the Antioch Cemetery, with services under the direction of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
