Bobby Jean Kay

Bobby Jean Kay was born on June 26, 1934 to Ira Luther “Babe” Kay and Elizabeth Grace (Sumpter) Kay near Rush Creek on the old home place. She passed from this life on May 8, 2014 at Wallville, Oklahoma. Bobby graduated from Hughes High School. She then went on to St. John’s College to obtain her registered nurse degree. Later she attended OU to receive a Master’s degree in Social Work and Psychology. Bobby loved to make quilts, hand stitching each one. She loved being around her brother Donald, Janie and Doyle, and their children, and Jennifer and her children. Bobby is survived by her brother, Donald R. Kay of Wallville, OK. Nieces: Jennifer Marie Kay; and Janie Elizabeth Clark and husband Clarence Doyle Brice Clark all of Wallville, OK. Nieces and nephews: William Tyler Griffin Kay, Colton Donald Kay, Kyle Luther Kay, Kalisa Marie Kay, Clarence Zachary Elijah Clark, Olivia Grace Clark, and Meagan Elizabeth Clark all of Wallville, OK. Thank you to Faith Hospice. Bobby was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Linda Fay Kay. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Pastor Steve Mayhan officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
