Floy Louise Rouviere of Lindsay was born January 20, 1933 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Earnest Hatcher and Edna (Martin) Hatcher. She passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in Lindsay Manor Nursing Home at the age of 81 years. Floy grew up in Pine Creek, south of Wilburton and she married Paul Edward Rouviere in 1952. She was a homemaker and also helped Paul with his work. Floy enjoyed fishing, swimming, gardening, and being around people and she always made friends very easily. Floy was a very superstitious person. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her husband Paul of the home. Children: Judy K. Griffith, Virginia A. Brandon, Michael E. Rouviere, Larry J. Rouviere, Zella L. Frady, Billie S. Ward, and Ruthie F. Johnson. Her siblings: Carma Sue Collins, L. D. Hatcher, and Charles Hatcher. 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Floy was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Hatcher and Edna Martin Morgan; sisters: Francis Tom and Linda Stepp; brothers: Bobby Hatcher and Richard Hatcher; grandson, Kevin Hogan; and 3 great grandchildren: Issac Burke, Elizabeth Acota, and Kylie Ramming. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 7, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville, OK with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
