Chad Bryan Dickenson of Lindsay was born on January 22, 1975 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Burl Raymond Dickenson, Jr. and Frances Eileen (Plumbtree) Dickenson. He passed from this life on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the age of 39 years after a tragic auto accident east of Lindsay. While growing up in the Marlow area, Chad attended Central School. He moved to Lindsay in 2005. He married Leslie Jensen on May 30, 2009 at the Assembly of God Church in Maysville. Chad was a machinist and had worked at Davis Machine Shop in Lindsay for 7 years then he went to work at Adtech in Wayne, where he has worked for 5 years. He was saved and sanctified on August 2, 2012 and became a member of the Eastside Holiness Church in Maysville. Chad enjoyed listening to preaching tapes, gospel music and singing. He enjoyed people and his church family was very important to him. He kept everyone entertained and had even written a song and a poem. Chad was a knife collector and enjoyed coloring and drawing, and fishing. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. His survivors include his wife, Leslie of the home in Lindsay. Mother-in-law, Barbara Jensen of Elmore City. Brother-in-law, Mike Jensen and wife Kristi of Elmore City. Cousins: Ranae and Reford Alcorn & family; Christy and Dustin Haynes and family; Lisa and Troy Butler & family; Donnie and Tinisha Dickenson & family; Heather and Caleb Clark & family; and B. J. Dickenson. Aunt, Penny Bennett. and many aunts, uncles, and a large church family. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burl and Pauline Dickenson, Ruby and Marian Plumbtree; Uncle Dennis Dickenson; Cousin Rexanne Dickenson; and brother-in-law Greg Jensen. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 pm, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Eastside Holiness Church, Maysville, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Maysville with Pastor Steve Mayhan and Bro. Phillip Bernard officiating.
