Shortly before he was to graduate with a degree in accounting, his parent’s health began to fail, so being the youngest child that had no other family obligations, he came home to Maysville to care for them until the time of their passing, his father in 1958 and mother in 1961. Flynn worked for Zanola’s Dry Goods Store for four years and then began his banking career with the First National Bank in Maysville. In 1971, he and Evelyn Ausbrook married and shortly after moved to Purcell. He went to work for First American Bank and continued there for twenty three years until retiring in 1993. He often stated during his time in the bank at Purcell that he had two of the finest bosses that a person could ever have, and those men were Sam Ewing and Pat Mays. Flynn was a member of the Church of Christ in Wayne, Oklahoma. He spent the majority of his life caring for his family and for those that he loved. Mr. Bost was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn on April 5, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Gerald Dean Grimes, brother Travis and ten half brothers and sisters.
