Marjorie Magdeline Haddix

Marjorie Magdeline Haddix of Maysville was born on December 13, 1920 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Charles and Rachel Knight Keith. She passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Norman Regional Hospital at the age of 93 years. Mrs. Haddix had lived all of her life in the Garvin county area. She attended and graduated from Maysville schools. She attended the Methodist church. Marjorie Keith married Earl Haddix on May 9, 1952 in Gainesville, Texas. She worked at McCaskill Nursing Home as a medication nurse’s aide. Marjorie enjoyed reading, cooking, and sewing. She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. Survivors are her son, Earl Haddix of Maysville, Oklahoma and sister, Joan Stock of Las Vegas, Nevada. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl in 1987; her daughter, Jo Frances Haddix in 2008; her brother, Charles Keith; and her sister, Katherine Jarman. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Gamble officiating.
