Kenneth Eugene Elledge of Lindsay passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Norman, OK at the age of 91 years. He was born the oldest of 11 children on June 15, 1922 in Springer, Oklahoma, to Luther and Dessie (Carter) Elledge. Kenneth graduated from Fox High School. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He lived in Drumright before moving to Lindsay in 1970. Kenneth worked as an oilfield foreman for Exxon-Mobil Oil Company for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, quail hunting, and cattle ranching. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church and was a member of the Lindsay Elks Lodge. Kenneth will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his sons: Kevin Elledge of Lindsay; and Greg Elledge and wife Amy of Lindsay. 7 Grandchildren: Tristan, Dakota, Riley, Trey, Courtney, Whitney, and Daniel. and 6 great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; some of his siblings; and a granddaughter, Shea Elledge. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill Love officiating.
