Willis Preston “Pat” Wigley of Maysville was born on December 22, 1920 in Paoli, OK to Joe Wigley and Parlee (Seagrove) Wigley. He passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 in Lindsay, OK at the age of 92 years. Pat was a longtime resident of Maysville. He married Lela Lavern Morphew on June 21, 1941. Pat worked at Humpty Dumpty Warehouse in Oklahoma City and also farmed. Upon retirement they moved to town and he “farmed” the garden until his health kept him from doing it any more. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed them. His survivors include his wife, Lavern Wigley of Lindsay. Son, James Wigley and his wife Clara of Maysville. A daughter, Boneta Weatherford of Ozark, Missouri. Brother, Roy Wigley of Ponca City. 5grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. And a host of friends. Pat was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Wigley; 1 brother; and 5 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, September 9, 2013 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Rev. John Griffith officiating.
