Patsy “Pat” June Bridgman of Davis, formerly of Maysville, was born on June 22, 1932 in Ardmore, OK to Joseph Alonzo and Ethel Tabatha (Lasley) Smith. Her brothers always teased her that her birthday was “tator-diggin’ day” because on the day that she was born the family was “diggin’ tators”. She passed from this life on Friday, July 26, 2013 in Norman, OK at the age of 81 years. Pat graduated from Dickson High School in 1949. Pat worked as a psychiatric aide at the Mental Health Center in Norman until she retired in 1984. She also worked for home health care taking care of several elderly people. She volunteered at the Senior Citizens Center in Maysville. Her home was always open as a safe haven for others. Family dinners were always very special to her, she loved preparing them for her family. Pat always fixed the coffee pot the night before so it would always be ready. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Maysville and most recently at Davis East Main Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School, helped in Vacation Bible School, and was actively involved in the church quilting group at Davis East Main Church of Christ. Pat also was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxillary. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
