William "Kent" Kenneth Hornbeck Born: August 10, 1959, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Glenda Faye Ayers and William Sherman Hornbeck. Passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on July 23, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years. Kent lived in Lindsay most of his life. He worked as a truck driver and dispatcher for A&A Tank Trucks. Kent married Nowana Cox in 1977, and they had 2 children Amanda Renee and Kenneth Olan Hornbeck. Kent was a member of the Lindsay Living Sanctuary Church. He loved his Church family and enjoyed worship with his brothers and sisters in Christ. Survivors: His daughter Amanda Evans and husband Dusty of Pauls Valley, and Devon Faye Hornbeck of California. His mother, Glenda Cowden and Step-father Melvin Cowden of Lindsay and Step Mother Sandra Hornbeck of Walters, Oklahoma. Sisters: Vanessa Moore and husband Bryan of Duncan, Oklahoma and Shelly Hornbeck of Temple, Oklahoma. Brothers: Charles Cowden and wife Sharon of Blanchard, Oklahoma, John Hornbeck of Ponca City, Oklahoma , Sister-in-law Tammie Hornbeck of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Ross Hornbeck and wife Paula of Walters, Oklahoma, David Hornbeck and wife Paige of Walter, OK, and Jesse Hornbeck and wife Tammy of Temple, Oklahoma. Kent is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony, Christian, Hope, Cole and Devin. Kent is preceded in death by Grandparents, Olan and Lois Ayers and Mabel Hornbeck. His father Bill Hornbeck and son Kenneth Olan Hornbeck. ****** Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Lindsay Church of God and will be officiated by Rev. Mike Butler assisted by Rev. Greg Hatchett. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
