Bobby Glenn Foster of McKinney, Texas passed away on April 30, 2013 in Richardson, Texas at the age of 84 years. He was born on September 22, 1928 in Maysville, Oklahoma to George Winston Foster and Jessie Leona (McCaskill) Foster. Bobby grew up in Maysville and graduated from Maysville High School in 1947. He married Gailia Beth Burrow on September 16, 1950 in Loveland, New Mexico. They were married for 60 years before she preceded him in death on December 8, 2010. When he was working for Sun Oil/DX they lived in Texas, Wyoming, Oklahoma City, and Kingston before moving to McKinney, Texas. Bobby retired from Oyrx Energy Company. He enjoyed fishing and helping with the fish fry at the Baptist Home for Girls in Madill. He could make delicious candy and peanut butter cookies. He was a member of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. Bobby will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his sons: Gary Foster of Nashville, Tennessee; and Alan Foster and wife Kelly of McKinney, Texas. Brother, Frank Foster and wife Wilma of Ponca City. A sister, Wanda Odom of Maysville. Sister-in-law, Betty Foster of Lindsay. Grandchildren: Chandra Foster, Jessey, Christey, Joshua, and Cortni Dru Foster. And many other relatives and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gailia Beth; a daughter, Bobbie Gale; and a brother, S. J. Foster. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to: Baptist Home for Girls, 13976 Anthony Lane, Madill, OK 73446. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Maysville Cemetery with Mark Turman officiating.
