Robert Wade Wilson

Robert Wade Wilson of Lindsay passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 78 years. He was born on July 13, 1934 in Soper, Oklahoma to Claude and Deta (Wade) Wilson. Robert was a longtime resident of the Lindsay area. He worked as a truck driver in the oilfield and was a cattle rancher. Robert served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps in Korea. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. His survivors include his sons: Robert W. Wilson, Jr. of Lindsay; Russell Wilson and his wife Amber of Ardmore; and Ronald Wilson of Lindsay. 3 Daughters: Sherry Gfeller of Lawton; Suzan Carroll of Lindsay; and Debra Selzer and Jay of Bradley. Sister, Jo Jackson of Texas. 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK with burial to follow under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
