Mary Aline Robinson, 87, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Purcell, OK. She was born December 19, 1924 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma to John C. Lane and Cora Gertrude (Wallace) Lane. Aline lived in Maysville all of her life, graduating from Maysville High School in 1944. She married J. W. “Buck” Robinson on March 22, 1944 in Maysville. She worked as a cashier and sales clerk at Odom’s Variety, Redbud Grocery, Coy’s Grocery, and sold Avon. Aline could also be seen helping her daughter, Denise at the Snack Shack. She enjoyed traveling, hanging out at the Maysville Senior Citizen’s Center where she enjoyed quilting and playing Skip-Bo, and going to the grandchildren’s activities. Aline was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maysville and worked for many years in the church nursery taking care of the babies and toddlers. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. Her survivors include her sons: Randy Robinson and wife Beverly of Wayne and Paul Don Robinson and his wife Patricia of Shawboro, North Carolina. Daughters: Marylyn Haynes of Oklahoma City and Denise Weldon and husband Bill of Maysville. Brother, Tommy Joe Lane and wife Coqueta of Pauls Valley. Daughter-in-law, Betty Robinson Hise of Oklahoma City. 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. And numerous other relatives and friends. Aline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. W. “Buck” Robinson; son, Jim Robinson; brothers, Donald and Junior; and sisters, Iris and Dorothy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 16, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville, OK with Rev. Danny Gamble and Rev. Keith Gillham officiating.
