Betty Marlene Bolles

Betty Marlene Bolles of Maysville, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord on August 25, 2012 at the age of 77 years. She was born May 17, 1935 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Charlie and Fannie (Ferguson) Reece. Betty was a graduate of Pauls Valley High School. She married Paul Dewey Bolles on June 2, 1956. Betty was retired from Maysville Schools as financial secretary after working for 4 superintendents. She had been a member of the LaMadre Mother’s Club. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, cross-word puzzles, and dancing. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maysville and a charter member of the Donald Gillham Sunday School Class. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Paul of the home. A son, Bret Bolles and fiancé Christy of Tulsa. Daughter, Lisa Jolley and husband Chris of Pauls Valley. Grandchildren: Ryan Stewart of Norman; Brooke Hornbeck and husband Jay of Lindsay; Blair Bolles of Chickasha; and Ruthie and Carlos Garcia of Tulsa. Great grandchildren: Gus, Samantha, and Casey Stewart of Purcell; and one on the way that will be born to Brooke and Jay Hornbeck. Brothers: Glen Reece of Sherman, Texas; Bobby Reece and wife Peggy of Oklahoma City; Delvin Reece and wife Louise of Moore. And a host of other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Fannie Reece and a granddaughter, Amber Michele. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville with Rev. Steve Spangler officiating.
