Larry Dale Hailey Born: May 25, 1957 to J.C. and Rayma Guttery Hailey in Purcell, Oklahoma. He died on July 21, 2012 at his home in Maysville, Oklahoma after a short illness at the age of 55 years. Larry was raised in the Slaughterville area graduating from Noble High School in 1976. He married Loretta Madden on May 20, 1977 in Purcell, Oklahoma. He began working at Warren Petroleum Plant in 1979, and continued working there as the company changed owners. He was employed at Oneok at the time of his death. Larry was senior mechanic working on the gas refinery engines. He was proud of his job and enjoyed working there very much. Larry was a deer hunter and enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed farming and baling his own hay. He raised some cattle as well. Larry can be remembered as a “Man who kept his word”. He was an avid baseball fan and would teach his kids how to catch different balls being pitched to them. Being the example he was, Larry taught his kids that in team sports they couldn’t win as a single player, but as a team player. They learned from him to be a good team player. He enjoyed playing with his kids from their childhood into adulthood. His greatest joy that he ever had was being with his kids and grandkids, family, and friends. Survivors include his Mother-Rayma Hailey of Slaughterville, Okla. Wife- Loretta of the home in Maysville, Okla. Daughter- Kristy and her husband, Kirk McGowen of Wayne, Okla. Sons- Keith and his wife, Mariah Hailey of Alva, Okla. Kasey Hailey of Maysville, Ok Brother- James and his wife, Joanna Hailey of Slaughterville, Okla. Sister- Sharon and her husband, Lance Gray of Glendale, Az. Father and Mother-in-law- Jake and Verna Madden of Wayne, Okla. Grandchildren- Sydney, Kade, and Jaci McGowen and Nevaeh Hailey Also, survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, J.C. Hailey Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am,Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville, Okla. with burial in the Whitebead Cemetery with Rev. Brian Anderson officiating.
