Lola Joyce Rainbolt

Lola Joyce Rainbolt passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her home in Maysville at the age of 69 years. She was born on August 13, 1942 at Hayward, California to Frank Schfler and Anna Lois (Newkirk) Rainbolt. While living in Texas, Joyce worked in real estate and was a manager for Apartment Industry. In 1988 she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado then in 2005, she made her home in Maysville. Joyce worked at the Maysville Library under the National Indian Counsel on Aging for 3 years and was the janitor at the Maysville Post Office for 2 years. She enjoyed reading books, traveling, movies, Sunday drives, and spending time with her great grandchildren. Joyce was a member of the 7th & Monroe Church of Christ in Purcell, OK. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Her survivors include her son, Tony Lee Vetter of Maysville. A daughter, Tammi Lynn Lessor and husband Billy of Maysville. Her siblings: Arlie Roe and wife Billie of Fort Worth, Texas; Deon Rainbolt and wife Irene of Kenedale, Texas; Ivan Leroy Rainbolt and wife Jo of Claremore, OK; Dwayne Eugene Rainbolt and wife, Marylyn of Claremore, OK. Sister-in-law, Myrtie Rainbolt of Wanette. Grandchildren: T. J. Vetter, Tabitha Crawshaw and husband Kevin, Adrian Vetter, Stephanie Lessor, Blaine Lessor, Anna Lewis and husband Jonathan, and Caleb Lessor. 8 great grandchildren. And numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond Irving Rainbolt in 1950 and Jarrell Dean Rainbolt in 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Maysville Library. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the 7th & Monroe Church of Christ in Purcell, OK with the Elders of the Church officiating.
