Betty Lee Miller of Lindsay passed away on July 7, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Cole, Oklahoma. She was born on November 9, 1927 at Centrahoma, Oklahoma to James Thomas and Sophie Lee (Harper) Brown. Betty was a longtime resident of the Maysville and Lindsay area. She had worked as a cook in restaurants and enjoyed working as a health care giver. Betty liked shopping at the Dollar General Store and loved traveling with her daughter and son-in-law in their motor home. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Her survivors include her daughter, Linda “Susie” Hyde and her husband Jerry of Cole, Oklahoma. 5 Brothers: Dale Brown, Buster Brown, Donnie Brown, Benny Brown, and Sonny Brown. A sister, Patsy Lewis. Daughter-in-law, Virginia Eldridge of Maysville. Grandchildren: Sheri and Bruce Enox, Michelle and Nate Davis, Melesha and Tex Cox, Mistie and Steve Hooten, Stormy and Chase Carlin, and Michael and Theresa Eldridge. Great Grandchildren: Kyle Enox, Shelby Enox, Timothy Koczorowski, Michael Koczorowski, Dakota Hooten, Taylor Cantrell, Dusty Hooten, Ethan Powell, Kinsley Cox, Haley Cox, Corbin Cox, Cache Carlin, and Colton Cox. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Sophie Brown and her son, Arlis Eldridge on January 27, 2012, one brother, G. W. Brown, and sisters, Vera Stone, Mildred Henminway, Leota Bailey, and Billie Dehart. Grave side services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Maysville Cemetery with Gaylon Lewis officiating.
