Victor Arlis Eldridge, 65, of Maysville passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Purcell Municipal Hospital. He was born September 21, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Betty (Brown) Miller. Arlis was a lifetime resident of the Maysville area and had attended Maysville Schools. On May 27, 1997 he married Virginia Stewart in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Arlis worked as an oilfield consultant for Crescent Oil Company. He loved his family and spending time with them. Arlis enjoyed golfing, fishing, and going to the coffee shop. He was baptized on January 15, 2012 at the Maysville Assembly of God Church. Arlis will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Virginia of the home in Maysville. His mother, Betty Miller of Purcell. Son, Michael Eldridge and wife, Theresa of Wichita Falls, Texas. Daughters: Melesha Cox and husband, Tex of Knox City, Texas; Mistie Hooten and husband, Steve of Holliday, Texas; and Stormy Carlin and husband, Chase of Seymour, Texas. Sister, Linda Hyde and husband, Jerry of Cole, Oklahoma. 9 grandchildren. And by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Sophie Brown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church of Maysville with Brother Dean Moore officiating.
