Mary Lorene Pickett of Maysville was born on December 10, 1952 at Comanche, Oklahoma to Leo and Lorene (Moore) Renfro. She passed away on January 2, 2012 at the Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years. Mary has spent most of her life in Wynnewood. She attended school there and graduated about 1971. Mary enjoyed taking care of people. She worked in numerous nursing homes, the Pauls Valley State School, and while in California at a Military Base. She was a very hard worker and would help anyone that needed help. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, loved being near and playing with her family, and was very good at darts, and an excellent cook. She loved her church at the Antioch Cowboy Church. Mary will be missed by her family and many friends made throughout the years. Survivors: Her Mother, Lorene Renfro of Wynnewood. Dee Pickett, the father of her children of Norman, Oklahoma. 1 Son: Jamie Pickett of Maysville. 1 Daughter: Monica Pickett of Pauls Valley. 3 Brothers: Gary and Janice Renfro of Wilson, Oklahoma David and Jean Renfro of Wynnewood, Oklahoma Tom Renfro of Wilson, Oklahoma. 2 Sisters: Pearl Mathis of Pauls Valley, and Jo and Mike Williamson of Elk City, Oklahoma. 5 Grandchildren: Katelynn and Hunter Russell and Colton, Jason and Olivia Pickett. As well as many nieces and nephews and other family members. The journey is over and peace has come fast. With each breath she took, so near to the last. The family will gather to bid her farewell, along with the angels, their wings spread and so frail, grandmother and daughter, sister and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Antioch Cowboy Church, %George Reynolds 14328 Hwy 74 Maysville, OK 73057. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Maysville with Pastor George Reynolds of the Antioch Cowboy Church officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
