Glenn J. Webb, 84, of Lindsay, died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at his son, Don’s home in Ninnekah with his family by his side. He was born January 16, 1927 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to O. W. and Hattie Mildred (Parker) Webb. Glenn J. was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a farmer and oil field worker all of his life. Glenn was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Corp in the Asiatic Theater of the War. On May 10, 1950, he married Mary McDaniel in Hobbs, New Mexico. Glenn loved music, playing harmonica, and jews harp. He was a self taught guitar player and taught 3 sons to play guitar and all were considered exceptional players to be so young. He is preceded in death in 1974 by his wife, Mary. Glenn will be missed by his family and his many friends in the Lindsay and Maysville area.. Survivors include his sons: Donald Charles Webb and wife Anita of Ninnekah; and David Allen Webb of Mustang. Daughters: Deborah Mediavilla and husband Frank of Lake Wales, Florida; Diana Perry and husband Dean of Lindsay; Donna Marie Webb of Lindsay; and Drenda Baker and husband Brian of Lindsay. 2 Sisters: Lois Morris and husband, LeLon and Doris Horning and husband, Mark. 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; son, Dennis; and 3 brothers, GeneWebb, O.W. “ Dub” Webb and A.B. Webb; and by a sister, Muriel West. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to your local American Legion Post. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5:00 pm, to 7:00 pm at Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Grave side services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK with Rev. Clay Hicks officiating.
