Ena Juanita Baker was born on June 29, 1926 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Paul and Ena Driskill. She departed this life on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Juniper Village at Lamar at the age of 85 years. Juanita was a longtime resident of the Garvin County area before moving to Lamar, Colorado. While living in Maysville, she was a beautician who had her beauty shop in her home. Juanita enjoyed crafts, oil painting, crocheting, sewing, and cooking for her family. She was a member of the Beatty Baptist Church. Juanita will be dearly missed by all of her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Harold Baker of Lamar, CO. Three children: Rhonda Phillips of Lamar, CO.; Harold E. Baker Jr. and wife, Judy of Maysville, OK; and Timothy B. Baker of Enid, OK. Four grandchildren Seven great-grandchildren Two sisters: Irene Clark and husband, Dale of Pauls Valley, OK and Dorothy Barnett of Broken Arrow, OK. One brother, David Driskill and wife, Margaret of Okmulgee, OK. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ena Driskill. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lamar Relay for Life or the Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative. Funeral services for Lamar, Colorado resident Ena Juanita Baker were held Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar, Colorado with Pastor Harold Bohl officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held 10 am to Noon, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside committal services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Oklahoma under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
