Billie Marie Hoyle of Maysville passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 81 years. She was born December 19, 1929 in Altus, Oklahoma to Clarence “Skinny” and Johnnie (Villie) Whitis. Billie married David Hoyle in 1950 and raised 3 daughters. In earlier years she served faithfully in children’s church in El Paso, Texas and was active in the First Baptist Church of Maysville. After working for 30 years as a clerk typist for the civil service, she retired to the town she had left as a young adult. Billie was an avid reader and enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, and tending to her flowers. Her survivors include: 3 daughters: Patricia Ginn and husband Christopher; Donna Thompson; and Bonnie Martin and husband James. 7 grandchildren: Genaro Oliveri and wife Annie; Lindsey Shedd and husband Ryan; Hollie Medina and husband Moses; Jason Ginn; Rebekah Kooch and husband Nicholas; Robert Martin; Melissa Torres and husband Matthew. 6 great grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Skinny” and Johnnie Whitis and a brother, Charles Whitis. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Maysville.
