Dustin “Dusty” Daniel Webster, 29, was born April 18, 1975 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Danny and Sandy (Richardson) Webster. He died Thursday morning, June 24, 2004 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa after an extended illness. Dusty has lived in this area most of his life. He attended Maysville Schools, graduating as Valedictorian of his class in 1993. He was active in all sports, FFA, and held honors in academics. Dusty was a great fan of vintage cars. He graduated from East Central University with a degree in Environmental Science and had completed 2 years of Law School at the University of Tulsa. While at ECU, he was on the Student Senate, a member of the Honors Program for exceptional academics, on the Crew, and was a McNair Scholar. After graduation, Dusty worked for Laidlaw Disposal Systems in Kansas City and later for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. On August 9th of 2003, he married Christy Archer of Stratford at the Chapel at Lake Murray, and they currently lived in Claremore, Oklahoma. Dusty also worked part-time at Rogers State University, teaching in the weight training and stamina programs complete with the ropes challenges. Dusty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville. Survivors include his parents, Danny and Sandy Webster of Maysville. His wife, Christy Webster of Claremore. Sister, Shea Webster of Norman. Father-in-law, Ted Archer of Lawton and Mother-in-law, Judy McPherson of Stratford. And brothers-in-law, Ray Archer and Rob Archer. Grandmother, Suzanne Webster of Maysville. Numerous cousins and other members of the family and many friends made throughout the years. Dusty is preceded in death by his grandparents: Perry and Bea Richardson, and Earl Webster. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating with burial in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home of Maysville, OK.
