Shila Renee Minyard, 39, of Maysville died on Thursday morning, December 9, 2010 at Purcell Municipal Hospital due to a tragic auto accident on Hwy 74 North of Maysville. She was born August 23, 1971 at El Reno, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Esther (Pierce) Kindred. Shila lived in this area most of her life moving here from Calumet, Oklahoma. She attended Maysville Schools graduating in 1989. Shila took Business Information Technology at Mid-America Vo-Tech School in Wayne. She married Randy Minyard on November 10, 1990 at the Church of the Nazarene in Purcell. Shila was employed as a cashier with Wal-Mart and did the accounting for the Town of Maysville. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. Shila was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay. She was a loving wife and mother, and be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Randy of the home in Maysville. Her father and mother, Kenneth Kindred of Yukon and Esther Gonzalez of Sulphur. Son, Trevor of the home. Daughter, Morgan of the home. Her brother, Troy Lamb and his daughter, Kendra of Norman. Sisters: Regina Blevins and her husband, Terry of Montana; and Carla Creekmore and her husband, Chris of Norman. Grampa Jack Kindred of Yukon. Aunts: Louise Lamb and Glinda Pierce. Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde and Wanda Minyard of Purcell. Brother-in-law, Jerry and Lorrie Minyard of Lexington. Sisters-in-law: Darla Thrash and her husband, Steven of Noble; Krista O’Neal of Purcell; Shelli Knight and her husband, Johnny of Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay with Rev. Steve Gardner officiating.
