Wilma Lee McManus

Wilma Lee McManus Born: June 11, 1929 at Maysville, Oklahoma to Albert and Pearl Gadberry Turner. Died: November 12, 2010 at the Pauls Valley General Hospital Age: 81 Mrs. McManus grew up in the Maysville area and graduated high school in 1948. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, traveling, and flowers. On February 2, 1950 she married Odie O. McManus at Gainesville, Texas. Odie worked in the oilfield and at an aircraft company so they moved a number of times before settling back in Garvin County. Mrs. McManus loved her home, taking care of her husband and enjoyed all of her family and all of her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors: Her husband Odie McManus of Pauls Valley. And a great number of nieces and nephews and many many friends made throughout the years. She is preceded in death by her parents, and by sisters Una Dillard, Moree Dillard, Neoma Alcorn, Peggy Watkins and Billie Jo Carroll and by a brother Bonnell Turner. ****** Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 2:00 pm at the Maysville Cemetery with Jess Wilburn officiating with burial under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
