Burl Holland, 83, of Lindsay died on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Integris Southwest Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born a triplet February 16, 1927 at Lindsay to Jess Conrad and Annie Sarah (Crawford) Holland. Burl was a lifetime resident of Lindsay, he attended Pike’s Peak School. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a MP during WWII. Burl worked in the oilfield driving a truck. His family said he was a workaholic. Burl liked mowing lawns. He enjoyed his grandchildren very much. Burl will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his sons: Steven Holland and Ron Holland both of Lindsay. Daughter, Rhonda Olney and her husband, Richard of Lindsay. 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and another one on the way. Burl was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Steve and Earl Holland; and 2 sisters, Murl and Katherine. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Eastside Holiness Church with Rev. Steve Mayhan officiating.
